Cardington Christmas decorating contest. Prizes award to the first, second, and third best decorated homes (outdoor) in the Village of Cardington.

A hot meal in the Legion Hall. Movies, live music, and other entertainment will also be had.

Santa Claus will be at the Firehouse while his reindeer visit with their friends nearby. And his frenemy The Grinch will be nearby in the historic Log Cabin.

The Cardington Community (Rotary) Building will have vendors with all sort of great Christmas crafts and gift ideas. Let us know if you’re interested in being a vendor.

Nearly 30 of our Cardington businesses and organizations will be hosting Christmas open houses that evening with free giveaways. Past favorites have included letters to Santa, ornament making, cookie decorating (and eating!), hot cocoa, Christmas wine, games, crafts, movies, live music, and more!

Bunkers Mill Winery will have live glassblowing of Christmas ornaments and pottery painting for the kids, both by local artists. Personalized commemorative wine with Christmas in Cardington labels will also be for sale!

Cardington-Lincoln Public Library will have The Little Memaid’s Ariel with a photo booth, cookie decorating, crafts, and local authors, including Mindy McGinnis.

Cardington FFA will be serving hot cocoa at the American Legion Park shelter house.
