Help us welcome Ohio Author Mindy McGinnis as she discusses her Ohio Book Award winning novel Under this Red Rock. Mindy discusses her research for writing Under This Red Rock, a murder mystery set in the cavern systems of Ohio that explores themes of mental illness, examining the often misunderstood behavior patterns of those who struggle. Her talk will be highly focused on erasing the stigma of mental illness, and the importance of speaking out about mental health, as she shares her own battles with depression and anxiety, as well as how they informed her process while working on the novel.
